Am 01.02.2019 erscheint mit „Olympic Girls“ das neue Album der neuseeländischen Band Tiny Ruins um die Frontfrau Hollie Fullbrook,
Darauf besticht das Quartett erneut mit seiner zarten, reflektierten und angenehm zeitlosen Verflechtung aus (Indie)-Folk und Dream Pop: „An album confident in its vulnerability and luxuriating in a bigger sound„, urteilt beispielsweise das englische Musikmagazin Loud And Quiet über diese Platte, die das Zeug dazu hat, sich zu einem der wertvollsten Geheimtipps des noch jungen Musikjahres zu entwickeln.
