Die Spanierinnen von Hinds überraschen mit neuem Track und kommen im Dezember auf Tour!
2018 war ein ein actiongeladenes Jahr für die vier Spanierinnen von Hinds. Die Band veröffentlichte ihr zweites, gefeiertes Album „I Don’t Run“ im April – und nun kommt die brandneue Single „British Mind„.
Auf „I Don’t Run“ blieben das Charisma und der Charme ihres Debüts völlig intakt, während der Sound der Band in Umfang und Tiefe erweitert wurde. Seitdem sind Hinds einmal mehr um die ganze Welt gereist und haben Show um Show gespielt, darunter auch einige der besten Festivals der Welt.
Jetzt erscheint die brandneue Single mit dem Titel „British Mind“. Die Band selbst erklärt die Entstehung des Tracks so: “‘British Mind’ is a song that has been born, fed, recorded, mixed, and mastered during this summer in between festivals. The title and its phrase comes from an idea that has been chasing me every time the sun is used as a metaphor of happiness in so so many songs made by English people. The sun is ‚that something‘ you have to look for, to wait for, to trust that it’ll come back someday, and will take care of you again. So, as Spaniards, a sunny day for us is simply a must. We just count on it. It’s gonna happen. For sure. Actually, the song was written on hot, sunny days. Could you tell? Anyways, it is still not the beginning of a third album, it is more like an epilogue for ‚I Don’t Run‘.”
Um dieses erfolgreiche Jahr abzurunden, wird die Band auf ihre bis dato längste UK- und Europatour gehen.
Zum Abschluss der UK-Reise wird es am 01.12. übrigens ein ganz besonderes Schmankerl geben: ein eintägiges, von der Band selbst kuratiertes Mini-Festival mit dem Titel „Party Planet“ im Londoner EartH (Hackney Arts Centre) mit einer Kapazität von 1.500 Plätzen – dieses Mini-Festival wird ein einmaliges, irres Fest und Hinds haben ein Line-Up ganz nach ihrem Gusto zusammengestellt: aufspielen werden Girl Ray, Sports Team und SHOPPING sind bestätigt. Dazu die Band:
