Starsailor veröffentlichen den Titeltrack des neuen Albums „All This Life“!
das britische Quartett Starsailor enthüllt den Titeltrack ihres neuen Albums „All This Life“, welches am 01. September über Cooking Vinyl erscheint.
Lead-Sänger und Gitarrist James Walsh, weiß folgendes zum Song zu berichten: “’All This Life‘ came about quite quickly & effortlessly even down to the main lyric. I think that’s why it has an upbeat fresh sound to it. It’s about how easy it is to get weighed down with all the seriousness in life and how important it is finding joy and humour in people and things as much as you can even in small doses. ‚There’s no love without light’”.
Der Titeltrack ist bereits der zweite Song den Starsailor vorab hören lassen. Mit der Albumankündigung wurde bereits die Single „Listen To Your Heart“ der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert.
„All This Life“ ist das fünfte Studio-Album der Briten und gleichzeitig das erste seit dem Vorgängeralbum „All The Plans“ aus dem Jahre 2009. Nach diversen Festival-Auftritten und einer Greatest-Hits-Tour 2015 fanden sich James Walsh (Vocals, Gitarre), James Stelfox (Bass), Barry Westhead (Keyboard) und Ben Byrne (Drums) revitalisiert im Studio zusammen, um das von den Fans sehnsüchtig erwartete Album aufzunehmen.
Auch zum Entstehungs- und Aufnahmeprozess des Albums gibt es ein Statement von Walsh: ” “Recording the album was an intense and rewarding experience and we’re excited to get it out there. There’s a good mix of the aspects of the band people know and love, and a few changes in direction.”
